OULU
Finland
Oulu is the capital of northern Finland and it’s located in the middle of Finland by the Bay of Bothnia. It is the 5th largest city in Finland.
Oulu is a mix of northern nature, urban city culture and original local flavour. Previously, tar made the city wealthy. Nowadays, Oulu has created a hub of high technology with mobile networks and 6G connections, and an air guitar event blasting the message of world peace.

OULU is a mix of northern nature,
URBAN culture and local flavor

From the beginning, the city has been a significant trade and transport hub, bringing people – and opportunities – together.
Today, Oulu is a versatile tourist destination, the Capital of the North and European Capital of Culture 2026.
Looking into the future with its head held high but feet on the ground, Oulu continues to develop and grow as the industrial hub of Northern Finland, a university city, and a city of events – always in balance with the northern nature.
